Hotlinking
Hotlinking is the placing of a linked object, usually an image or media file, from another person's website on to your own website. For example, instead of uploading an image to your own web space, you link to the image on another person's web space.
Hotlinking is never appreciated, since you are stealing bandwidth and resources from another person. It can also result in the victim of hotlinking to replace the linked image with a usually grotesque picture.
cPanel has a hotlinking protection, which will not allow domains other than your own to link to your files.
