What is the maximum number of MySQL connections allowed?
Clients on our shared hosting servers are allowed a maximum of 25 concurrent MySQL database connections. We have determined that this is an acceptable number of concurrent open sessions, and those sites with greater needs are better candidates for dedicated hosting.
