You can configure any email account directly on your iPhone or iPod Touch. The only information you'll need is your email account username, password, and incoming/outgoing mail server information for your domain.

If this is the first email account that you're setting up on your device, tap the Mail icon. Otherwise, from the home screen, choose the following:

Settings → Mail, Contacts, Calendars → Accounts

And then choose Add Account….

Next, choose your email account type. For setting up email to work with our servers, choose Other.

Fill in your name and email address, then click Save.

On the next screen, enter your email account details:

Incoming Mail Server

Host Name

mail.your-domain.com

User Name

address@your-domain.com

Password

Whatever password you chose when creating the email account.

Outgoing Mail Server

Host Name

mail.your-domain.com

User Name

address@your-domain.com

Password

Whatever password you chose when creating the email account.

Tap Save to save the entered information, and your device will then verify your account information.

Upon successful completion, you will be taken back to the Mail Settings screen. You will still need to configure your folders since you'll be using the IMAP protocol.

Select your newly created account and enter the Advanced section.

Change your IMAP Path Prefix from / to INBOX.

Now you will be able to choose the Drafts, Sent, and Deleted folders on the server. This way, your folders will be in sync no matter where or how you access your email. Just choose each mailbox on the same Advanced screen and select the matching folder on the server.

You should now have a fully configured email account on your iPhone or iPod Touch device.
