Parked Domains
A parked domain is a second domain that points to your primary domain. When users attempt to access the parked domain, they will see your main website.
For example, both http://www.crucialwebhost.com and http://www.crucialwebhosting.com go to the same place, as crucialwebhosting.com is a parked domain for crucialwebhost.com.
Note: Parked domains must be registered with a domain name registrar before they will work. Also, the the parked domain's nameservers must be configured properly.
Creating A Parked Domain
When you create a parked domain, cPanel does not ask you to specify a folder or file, since by default the parked domain will point to your main website. However, you can configure the parked domain to point to a specific file or folder. Please see below for more information.
Redirecting To A Specific File
You can specify a subdirectory or file to which the parked domain will direct visitors. To do this, click the Redirect link in the Modify Parked Domains table.
Deleting A Parked Domain
You can stop a parked domain from redirecting visitors to your website. To do so, click Delete in the Modify Parked Domains table.
Note: Deleting the parked domain from the table will not erase any files or directories from the server. It merely prevents visitors from being redirected to your website when they attempt to access the parked domain.
