Clearing Your Browser’s Cache

Clearing your browser's cache can help with viewing recent changes to your site when they are not showing up properly. The following procedures provide steps to clear your cache in the following browsers:

Chrome

  1. Click the Tools menu, or the wrench icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Clear browsing data…
  3. Check the following boxes:
    • Clear browsing history
    • Empty cache
  4. Click the Clear Browsing Data button when ready.

Firefox

  1. Click the Tools menu and click on Clear Recent History…
  2. From the Time range to clear dropdown, select Everything.
  3. Click on the Clear Now button.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  2. In the General tab under the Browsing history heading, click on the Delete… button.
  3. Check the following boxes:
    • Temporary Internet files
    • History
  4. Click the Delete button.
  5. Wait for your history to be deleted, and click the OK button when it's done.

Opera

  1. Click on the Tools menu and select Delete Private Data…
  2. Click on the arrow next to Detailed Options to bring up a list of what you want to delete.
  3. Check the following boxes:
    • Delete temporary cookies
    • Delete entire cache
  4. Click on the Delete button.

Safari

  1. Click on the History menu and select Clear History.
  2. Click on the Clear button.

Save. Share. Submit.
