Due to the limitations of cPanel, you cannot add IP addresses to your plan. If you require additional IP addresses, you will either need to purchase another Split-Shared plan or upgrade to Split-Dedicated, where you can have as many IP addresses as you like.

At this time, we have no plans to offer additional storage. However, if you go over your allocated bandwidth, pricing is $2/GB and must be bought in 10 GB blocks.

Can I host multiple domain names under one hosting plan?
Yes, assuming you own them. We do not allow reselling, even if you're not making a profit. All domains must be owned by the primary account holder.
Can I remotely access my MySQL database(s) with your service?
Not on our shared hosting plans. Remote access to MySQL can be enabled for dedicated hosting clients only.
Can I use SSH to access my site?
Yes. SSH, as well as SFTP and SCP, are available on all of our hosting plans.
Do I get root access?
Because we provide full management, root access is not available. If you need something done that requires root access, contact support for assistance.
Do you allow adult websites?
Yes. We are not the morality police, and don't want to be! Don't forget to read our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service if you need specific examples of what we do not allow, such as child pornography, warez, and copyrighted material like MP3 files.
Do you allow mailing lists to be sent out from your servers?
Yes, but only if your application has batch processing capabilities. We recommend clients use a third-party service, such as AWeber, for doing mass mailings.
Do you allow remote MySQL access?
Yes, you can connect to your MySQL database(s) from your local computer or another website.
Do you allow the creation of cron jobs?
Yes. You can setup cron jobs through cPanel.
Do you allow the installation of custom perl modules?
Depending on the Perl module, yes. Our System Administrators will determine the compatibility of the module with our systems and provide an immediate response.
Do you allow the uploading of legal MP3 files?
Yes.
Do you charge any setup fees?
Split-Shared has a $50 setup fee. Dedicated Containers has a $100 setup fee. All setup fees are non-refundable.
Do you have a test file I can download?
You can download a 100 MB test file from our data center.

None of our hosting plans come with automated or one-click installers, such as Fantastico, Installatron, or SimpleScripts.

None of our hosting plans come with webmail. All of our clients are urged to use a third-party email service, such as Google Apps. You are free, however, to install your own webmail application.

How do I clear my local DNS cache?
When you make a change to your domain, like update the nameservers, switch it to another IP address, or change the A or CNAME records, you'll likely need to flush your local DNS cache to get the updated information.
How do you protect my website from spam, viruses, and hackers?
Crucial has state-of-the-art security measures in place. We offer a variety of spam reduction solutions, including the popular SpamAssasin and ClamAV anti-virus software. We also offer a boxtrapper service that requires users to authenticate themselves to you prior to you receiving their email.
How is payment made, monthly or yearly?
That's up to you! You can by monthly or yearly.
How is this different than a dedicated server?
A Split-Dedicated server uses virtualization technology to provide a similar hosting experience to a physical dedicated server. Because you share the cost of the entire server with additional clients, your Split-Dedicated container easily outperforms a similarly priced dedicated server.
How is this different than shared hosting?
Split-Dedicated is different from shared hosting in serveral ways. In a shared hosting environment, your website is competing for resources with hundreds—and in some cases thousands—of other clients' websites. Not only do you share the same limited pool of server resources, but server software as well, such as HTTP, MySQL, and PHP.
How many domains can I host?
Since you do not share your container, there is no limit to how man domains you can host.

Is all of the disk space available for use?
No. Unlike shared hosting, where you get what you pay for, containers are different. The disk space you receive is for the entire container, which includes the space needed for the OS, MySQL, PHP, etc.

Email is limited to 100 outbound messages per hour. We actively monitor all email usage and require strict adherence to the Anti-Spam Policy.

Clients on our shared hosting servers are allowed a maximum of 25 concurrent MySQL database connections. We have determined that this is an acceptable number of concurrent open sessions.
