Can I access my domain with and without the www?
Yes, you will be able to access your domain with and without the www prefix.
Do I have to make my contact details public?
Yes and no. Anything you put as your registration information for your domain name is easily accessible by the public. This is important in case anyone wants to contact you.
Do I have to register a domain name with Crucial?
Not at all. You can register a domain name with any registrar that you choose. If you want hosting for your domain with us, be sure to edit the DNS information for that domain, making sure it points to our nameservers.
Do you push domain names?
We do not push domain names to other eNom accounts. If you would like to have your domain under your eNom account, you will need to transfer it away from Crucial.
How do I setup custom nameservers?
Nameservers must be registered with the holding registrar of the domain in question. For example, if your domain is registered through the eNom registrar, then your nameservers must be registered with eNom for them to be globally available for name resolution.
How do I transfer a domain from Crucial?
As long as the domain is not expired, you can transfer a domain name to another registrar. You will need to ask your new registrar how to transfer a domain name.
How do I transfer a domain name to Crucial?
As of May 11, 2008, we no longer accept domain transfers.
How do I transfer a Yahoo! domain to Crucial?
When you register a domain with Yahoo! your domain is locked automatically. To unlock your Yahoo! domain you'll need to go to your "Domain Control Panel" and click on the "Edit Domain Locking" link. Once you access this page, you'll see your domain lock status. Click on the "Unlock Domain" button to change the lock status.
My domain name is registered with you, how will I know when to renew?
You will receive an invoice via email when your domain is about to expire, which will give you plenty of time to renew it.

Whois is a protocol that is widely used for querying a database in order to determine the owner of a domain name or IP address on the Internet.
What is an EPP Authorization Code?
The EPP Authorization Code (EPP Auth Code or EPP Authorization Key) is a 6- to 16-character code assigned by the registrar at the time the .com, .net, .biz, .org, .info or .name domain name was created. The authorization transfer key is basically a password for the domain. Auth codes are an extra security measure, ensuring that only the owner of the domain can make transfers.
What is domain name propagation?
Propagation is the period of time, or delay, involved in sending your domain name's address information to all the various name servers in the world. Nameservers intentionally keep track of addresses for domain names in their memory for a specific period of time. This speeds up the process of looking up an address for a domain name.
Will my domain name be registered under my name?
Absolutely! You will be paying for the domain, so you will have complete ownership.
