One of the most common mistakes I see beginners and intermediates fall victim to when it comes to CSS is not removing the default browser styling. This leads to inconsistencies in the appearance of your design across browsers, and ultimately leaves a lot of designers blaming the browser. It is a misplaced blame, of course. Before you do anything else when coding a website, you should reset the styling.

I was going through the traffic logs a minute ago, and noticed referrals coming from The Daily Slurp. If you’re not familiar with this website, it’s a "daily list of beautiful websites." It is similar to many of the CSS gallery websites, except they welcome all types of websites, like ones made with Flash.

The dry erase board is wiped clean, mountains of empty soda cans are finally cleared from the desks, and a slight sigh of relief is felt by the design team, but only for a moment. We are proud to announce the new design for Crucial Web Hosting.
Development was started in late December, and with just 45 days to complete the site, we knew there was going to be plenty of long nights and trips to Jack In The Box ahead of us.
