On February 1, Crucial Web Hosting, Ltd. will be launching the web hosting industry’s most profitable affiliate program available. Crucial’s affiliate program, known as Crucial Cash, will be paying $101 for every account referred that signs up for any of our shared hosting plans. Crucial Cash will be available to all participants, including those without a website.
Image and text-based advertising
Affiliates have the ability to provide referrals to Crucial Web Hosting with image and text advertisements, which are tracked using a cookie and tracking code. When a visitor clicks the link to visit the Crucial website, a cookie will be set with that affiliate’s code. The cookie has a thirty day expiration, so even if the visitor doesn’t purchase on their first visit, the affiliate can still profit if the visitor purchases within thirty days.

Affiliates can login to the Crucial Cash control panel to generate discount codes or coupons. The affiliate has the ability to issue discounts up to the full $101 commission. The coupon discount amount is deducted from the affiliate’s $101 commission.
For example, if an affiliate was to generate a coupon code for a discount of $51, and a visitor uses that coupon code to setup an account with Crucial, the affiliate would be paid $101 less the $51 from the coupon, for a total of $50 for that referral.
There is no limit on the use of a single coupon code. This provides for an excellent opportunity to increase passive profits by including the coupon code in print and other media outside of the Internet, including word of mouth.
There’s some strategy involved
Crucial offers premium hosting products starting at $9.99, which includes a $49.99 setup fee. Offering a coupon code with a discount of more than $59.98 would make the signup absolutely free for the visitor, and would still provide for an affiliate commission of $41.02! The client pays absolutely nothing to sign up using the discount code provided by the affiliate, because it basically waives the setup fee and gives the client one month of free hosting. The affiliate earns $41.02 for providing the visitor with the coupon code. Affiliates will profit from not only affiliate sales, but also by the value they provide to their visitors.
Coming to terms
The same premium hosting product is available without a setup fee if purchased one year in advance. The yearly cost of this product is $119.88. The same $59.98 coupon code used previously applied to this package would allow for a full year’s worth of premium Crucial Web Hosting, reducing the monthly cost to only $4.99, while still providing an affiliate commission of $41.02. Besides monthly and yearly hosting, Crucial offers a 20% discount for hosting bought in a two year block.
Crucial offers a 101 day full money back guarantee on all shared hosting packages. Affiliates are paid after this 101 day grace period to allow for cancellations and credit card chargebacks. After the grace period, affiliate commissions are tallied on first week of each month, and payments are issued via PayPal on the following week. Affiliates with more than five sales can choose to have a paper check or an electronic wire transfer in place of PayPal payments.
