This is great…but I want to take it one step further and apply the “active” nav item to multiple pages…I tried using the || which works for one set of pages, but then it won’t shut off when you navigate to another set of pages that should have a different nav item highlighted. I’ve tried some ‘else if’ statements to no avail. Any suggestions?

I have this tutorial for the same topic…

http://3w1h.com/how-to-highlight-active-link-in-active-page-in-navigation-using-php/

-you don’t need to edit many pages..
-you need to edit only the ie navigation.php file
-no extra ” in the code when the link is not active
-you can copy paste the code
